Lasith Malinga wants to play two more years

Sri Lanka’s cricketer Lasith Malinga refuses to retire. Malinga says, he can easily perform two more years.

Earlier in March, Malinga had said he would like to retire after the Twenty20 World Cup.

In an interview recently, Lasith Malinga said he would rethink his decision to retire from cricket after the Twenty20 World Cup.

In this regard, he said, “In Twenty20 cricket, you only have to bowl five overs. So I think I can play Twenty20. With my experience playing Twenty20 cricket, I can easily continue playing a couple more years.”

Sri Lanka has won just one of the last 10 international matches under the leadership of Malinga after being re-elected as the Sri Lankan T20 team captain. Lost in eight matches.
